Physiotherapist. In 2015 received the Ph.D. degree and in 2019 the DSc degree in rehabilitation medicine at the Warsaw Medical University. Since 1991 worked with Professor Waldemar L. Olszewski. In 1993 joined the Poland-India research group on filarial lymphedema. Participated in the discovery of cryptic bacteria in the lymphedematous tissues and defining their tissue location and responsiveness to antibiotics. Moreover, took part in studies on lymph and tissue fluid proteins, their chemistry, concentration, and biological effects on keratinocytes in culture, hydromechanics of edema tissue fluid in lower and upper limbs, effects of intermittent pneumatic compression effects on post-mastectomy and post-hysterectomy lymphedema, on silicone tubing implants bypassing the lymph flow obstruction sites. First author and co-author of over 70 scientific publications, 40% of them in lymphology. Held several oral and poster presentations at the National Lymphedema Network and Wound Healing Society congresses in the USA, International Society of Lymphology, and other international congresses. Awarded prizes of the Wound Healing Society/SAWC USA in 2014 and 2015.
