Prof Dr. GURUSAMY MANOKARAN

MBBS in 1978 - Thanjavur Medical College. Master in General Surgery in 1982 - Madras Medical College. Specialty MCh - Kilpauk Medical College in 1984. Then worked as a medical college teacher at various medical colleges and research institutions. He was an examiner for PhD at Anna University Center for Biotechnology. He got his Fellow of international College of Surgeons in 1992 and Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow in 2016 FRCS Glasgow.

He has travelled widely for teaching and attending conferences on national and international level. He has published more than 100 publications in the cited journals. He has been a guest speaker and key note speaker at various national and international congresses. He was the charter president of Lymphology Society of India. He was the past president of the International Society of Lymphology (ISL). He is a member of various academic societies and associations. Currently he is chief of Lymphology and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Apollo hospital Main in Chennai, India.
