Professor Geroulakos trained in Vascular Surgery at St Bartholomews' Hospital in London and at the Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He completed his PhD thesis in carotid disease at St Mary's Hospital in London.  For several years he was Clinical Reader in Vascular Surgery at the Imperial College, Consultant Vascular Surgeon in London and President of Agiology at the Royal Society of Medicine (2007-2014). He moved to Athens in 2015 in the capacity of Professor and Chairman at the University Department of Vascular Surgery. He has 240 publications listed in Pub Med. He is the editor of 3 international books on vascular disease.
